Our client was accused of rape after having sex in a hotel with a minor he met through social media. The victim alleged that the sex was forced by assault and intimidation, but the client consistently maintained that the sex was consensual.

Through careful analysis of the social media conversation history, we proved that the victim initiated the contact and consistently requested to meet, and the hotel CCTV footage showed that the victim skillfully operated the kiosk and acted naturally, showing that there was no coercion.
In particular, we emphasized the victim's own denial of coercion by proving that she admitted her fault in front of the officers at the scene of the 112 call on the day of the incident and clearly stated that the other person was not at fault. At the same time, we systematically refuted the contradictions in the victim's statement, arguing that her claims were contradicted by objective facts, from the circumstances of the encounter to the course of the sexual intercourse.
As a matter of law, we cited Supreme Court precedent to clarify that the victim's statement alone was insufficient to support a conviction and that the necessary elements of assault and intimidation for rape were absent. Finally, we presented evidence that the victim's father consistently sought compensation after the incident, strongly raising the possibility of a financially motivated false accusation.
Results
During the police investigation, the prosecutor determined that the victim's one-sided statement alone was not enough to prove the rape allegation, especially since objective circumstances such as the victim's withdrawal from the scene on the day of the incident, the victim's active request for a meeting on social media, the spontaneous behavior observed in the CCTV footage, and the subsequent demand for money from the victim's father were consistent with the client's version of events.
In the end, the prosecutor decided that the client's version of the events - that the sex was consensual - was more credible, and the case was dismissed (no charges), completely clearing the client of any wrongful accusations.
